Lily Rain Addiction Treatments

Lily Rain has ongoing intakes, with a maximum occupancy of 10 persons. This gives you a chance to build a small support network while maintaining peace, quiet and privacy our quiet, peaceful facility.

Our typical treatment duration is between 30-45 days, and it consists of various private therapy and counseling sessions along with some group discussions as well. While it can be intimidating, group therapy is proven to be effective in healing from addiction.

There will be opportunities to join multiple different group discussions, centered around many deep and powerful topics. You’ll cover things such as self-care, motivation, coping skills, relapse prevention, mental health, mindfulness, triggers, shame, and guilt. This list is not exhaustive though, and group discussions can go in any direction that the group finds helpful.

Some benefits of group therapy include:

  • Community support. Over time, you’ll naturally grow closer to the people in your group as you share stories and experiences. This gives you support and encouragement as you continue through treatment. Lasting, long-term recovery often depends on a good support network, and this lays a great foundation.
  • You feel less alone. There is plenty of stigma, judgment, and shame surrounding addiction. By participating in group sessions, you won’t feel as isolated as you surround yourself with those working towards the same goal.
  • Encourages vulnerability. Many people don’t like getting vulnerable, whether in a group or private setting. By seeing others sharing openly and freely, it’ll help those with more reservations to be comfortable sharing. They may share more with the group, but they’ll also grow more comfortable sharing individually with a therapist.
  • You’ll see improvement and progress firsthand. By hearing others’ stories within the group, you’ll see for yourself the progress that can be made when in treatment. This can increase confidence in your own treatment.
  • Offers a different perspective. Sharing in a group setting can offer everyone in the group a fresh perspective. You’ll hear ideas and thoughts that may not have occurred to you, and you can learn about different viewpoints and coping mechanisms.

While we believe a peaceful environment will help you thrive, we also believe in a scientific, evidence-based approach to our addiction treatment services.  Our counselors will work with you one-on-one to determine an appropriate and effective treatment plan. This can include any combination of our research-backed therapies:

  • Cognitive behavioural therapy
  • Anger management therapy
  • Acceptance and commitment therapy
  • Trauma-informed therapy
  • Mindfulness-based stress therapy
  • Spiritual therapy
  • And more

In addition to in-depth, tailored treatment, we also offer a variety of extra-circulars that are designed to enhance your treatment while enriching your time at our center.

These things are available to you throughout your stay and will help you focus your attention, reflect, learn, and express yourself. They’ll also help you create new, helpful habits and practices that you can carry with you even after treatment is over.

Some of these activities and amenities include:

  • A workout area with equipment
  • Art therapy
  • Yoga
  • Meditation
  • Journaling
  • Motivational speakers
  • Local and in-house AA/CA/NA meetings – the Association for Addiction Treatment offers many resources including local chapters and support groups.
  • Access to nature
  • Comfortable outdoor lounge
  • Fresh, healthy, chef-prepared meals with ingredients from local farms.

Things like yoga and meditation help you center your mind and spirit. This can reduce feelings of depression, anxiety, and stress, which will in turn help you better focus on your treatment and recovery. Journaling and art help you express your thoughts and emotions in a healthy way while creating something new and beautiful. All of this is meant to aid you in not only your addiction treatments but in the full healing of mind, body, and spirit.
