In-Patient Treatment

There are two main types of treatment – inpatient and outpatient. An intensive outpatient program can be effective, but it largely depends on the individual’s motivation to change and the severity of the addiction.

Overview

Our inpatient treatment program offers a wide range of therapies and other services for those recovering from addiction. We believe in a whole-body, holistic approach to addiction treatment. Our methods aim to treat and heal your mind, body, and spirit together which we believe gives you the best chance at long-term recovery and lasting results

To give you an idea, we offer all of the following at our gorgeous, private facility:

  • Traditional individual therapy. For many, this is the crux of treatment. You’ll have multiple therapy sessions throughout your stay, which are tailored to you as an individual and the issues you’re struggling with. Our therapists and counsellors are trained in a variety of therapy methods and will work with you to see what’s most effective.
  • Group therapy. Group therapy is similar to individual therapy, but discussions are had with multiple people. Connection is one of the most important aspects of overcoming addiction. Group therapy provides a sense of belonging, offers fresh perspectives, and challenging conversations, and it can give you confidence to hear about the successes of others.
  • Holistic therapy. We also offer things like meditation, yoga, workout equipment, access to nature, art therapy, journaling, and much more. These things are meant to help you relieve stress, reach new breakthroughs, and enrich your experience overall. They’re also shown to help mitigate various symptoms of mental illness, which can make going through treatment a little easier.

Your treatment plan will consist of a combination of these treatments and more.

We hope to make admission to our inpatient addiction treatment for women and men as easy as possible. Individuals can self-refer if they would like to join our program, no recommendation is needed. That said, you’re welcome to discuss with your doctor, primary caregiver, and/or any other medical professional if you’d like some help and guidance with your decision.

Our Cultural support programs ensure the effective delivery of cultural resources to Urban Indigenous people promoting a strong sense of well-being and positive Indigenous identity.

Addictions and Mental Health programs offer a cultural space for individuals with mental health and addiction issues to find the help they need in moving toward a healthier lifestyle.

The programs offer one-on-one supportive counseling and culturally based services and support groups. This includes holistic healing through medicine wheel teachings on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health, and participation in cultural activities such as drumming circles, ceremonies, and feasts.

Intergenerational trauma is a concept developed to help explain years of generational challenges within families – it is the transmission of the oppressive or traumatic effects of a historical event. A trauma-informed therapist can help begin the healing process.

We provide and facilitate access to traditional teachings and ceremonies in a safe and acceptable environment. Lily Rain Recovery center is striving to work with elders and traditional people as required, using a prevention lens to meet the needs of our clients by facilitating access to traditional teachings and ceremonies.

At Lily Recovery, we try to keep your days as consistent and productive as possible, while still allowing for some free time and downtime. We’ve created a balanced, structured schedule that we think will set you up for success every day.

Each day will look similar so you always know what to expect. Monday-Friday is when the majority of your treatments and sessions will take place, whereas the weekends are a little more open.

Just because your time at our inpatient addiction treatment in Ontario is done, doesn’t mean the recovery journey is over. There is still much to do as you continue on the path to total healing, and we’ll work closely with you on an aftercare plan. Transitioning from our inpatient rehab can be challenging and overwhelming. Having a plan in place and people to support you is paramount to your long-term success.

Aftercare can include things like:

  • Creating goals and objectives as you go back to your regular life
  • Participating in our alumni program
  • Attending 12-step programs and/or other support groups and recovery meetings
  • Securing and regularly reaching out to a sponsor, as well as other members of your support system
  • Continuing with individual and group therapy
  • Identifying local resources to meet your needs – counselors, sober housing, appropriate employment, etc.

Your specific plan will be individual to you, and your team of professionals will help you create something perfect. Many aftercare plans cover the next year of your life, but depending on your situation, it may be longer.
